Helene Cuff – Founder of Cuff Communications

Helene Cuff - Founder - Cuff CommunicationsOver 15 years experience in restaurant, hotel and food PR, 10 years of which was spent as a Director at Sauce Communications. Helene has worked with a broad range of clients both in the UK and abroad including Gordon Ramsay Holdings, Le Meurice in Paris, Mon Plaisir, Exclusive Hotels, The Savoy, Gidleigh Park, Kensington Place, Diesel Wines and Sotogrande in Spain; as well as launching cookbooks and working with publishers Phaidon, Quadrille and Harper Collins.

Since setting up Cuff Communications in 2013, Helene and her team have only worked for clients that they feel passionately about from Le Champignon Sauvage, a two Michelin star restaurant whereby husband and wife have never missed a service in almost 30 years, to #FiftyChefs project, an exhibition in Shoreditch where all proceeds went to FareShare charity. Cuff Comms have successfully launched new restaurants, such as Forest Side in Cumbria and Arabica Bar & Kitchen in Borough Market, and passionately supports established restaurants that are leaders in their field for example Richard Corrigan’s Bentley’s Oyster Bar and Grill celebrating its centenary this year, to less known gems such as Michelin starred The Whitebrook, a restaurant with rooms tucked away in the Wye Valley run by a husband and wife team.

Helene works only with experienced consultants, no account executives here, ensuring a thorough and professional hands on proactive approach for each client.

Jess Harms – Cuff Communications Consultant

Jess-harmsJess has 12 years of consumer PR experience, specialising in food, drink and travel including many years spent as an Account Director at Sauce Communications where she worked closely with Helene.  Her previous clients include the Salt Yard Group, Galvin Restaurants, Sally Clarke, Peyton & Byrne, D&D London, Texture Restaurant, Malaysia Kitchen and Tortilla.  After a brief period spent working for a newly launched skincare brand, where she was able to further develop her lifestyle contacts, Jess joined Helene and now supports her across all Cuff Communications clients.

 

 

 

Kelly Ohlmus – Cuff Communications Consultant

Kelly_b_wKelly Ohlmus has over 20 years experience in marketing communications across a number of industries in both corporates and small business.  Kelly is dedicated to online marketing including website development and design, social media and content distribution. Kelly provides web and social media support to Cuff Communications including media release distribution and managing some client social profiles.

 

 

 

Kate Heather – Cuff Communications Consultant

Kate HeatherKate Heather is a TV agent and has worked in media for over fifteen years with an enviable record for raising the profile of her clients. She has worked in Television production for a number of companies including many years at the BBC. This involved working across a range of genres encompassing Live Events, Entertainment, Cookery, Children’s, Sport, History and Arts. Kate is well connected with first hand experience of live and pre-recorded production.
