Marylebone Food Festival is back for a second year and taking place from 24th to 28th April 2019. The festival celebrates the abundance and variety of food and drink in Marylebone, from top Michelin star restaurants and artisan cafes to speciality food shops and quirky cocktail and wine bars.
A partnership between The Portman and Howard de Walden estates, the festival aims to throw the spotlight on the culinary wealth and variety of this pocket of London. Earlier this year the festival saw some of the capital’s most exciting restaurants and chefs come together for World on a Plate – a tasting menu of dishes from the likes of The Providores’ Peter Gordon, Michelin star restaurant Trishna, Roux at the Landau, La Fromagerie and many more.
Meanwhile dozens of other Marylebone food and drink establishments hosted exclusive events, collaborations, food tours and festival menus over the course of the festival and the event raised over £2000 for local charity, Food Cycle.
Marylebone Food Festival 2019 will kick off with the The Marylebone Menu – the ultimate dinner party, a headline ticketed event for 120 on Wednesday 24th April (£75pp). Some of Marylebone’s and of course London’s most celebrated chefs and food personalities will join forces to cook an eight-course feast accompanied by wine in St Mary’s Church on York Street, a striking, grade II listed Georgian building in the centre of Marylebone.
The Marylebone Menu will be just the beginning – the following four days will see the plethora of other top food and drink establishments in the area hosting exclusive events and menus, collaborations and experiences highlighting Marylebone as one of London’s most celebrated and culinary diverse destinations.
