Pip Lacey and restaurant hicce

Cuff Communications is delighted to be working with Pip Lacey and her forthcoming restaurant launch in spring 2018.

Pip and long time friend and business partner Gordy McIntyre will open hicce (pronounced ee-che) by March/April next year. The central London restaurant will serve modern dishes, using traditional techniques such as marinating, curing, pickling, as well as fish, meat and vegetables cooked over a wood fire.

2017 Great British Menu winner, Pip says: “17 years ago Gordy and I talked about running our own place together, and we’re almost there! We’ve chosen the name hicce, because it means ‘current, of the moment’ in Latin and that’s exactly how we see our restaurant, constantly evolving.” Gordy will head up front of house and Pip the open kitchen, however both will be involved in making sure that all staff are cross-trained creating a harmonious workplace for staff.
